Postpartum mood and anxiety disorders are the most common complication of pregnancy and impact 1 in 4 women. Women's health expert Kirtly Jones, MD, talks with Jamie Hales, LCSW, board co-chair for Postpartum Support International and clinical manager for Huntsman Mental Health Institute, about the sign and symptoms of postpartum depression, contributing factors that can put a woman more at risk, and available treatment options.
