When you hear the word ultrasound, you may first think of babies, but that’s not all it’s used for. Over the past 20 years, ultrasounds have become a major part of sports medicine procedures. Dr. Tom Miller talks with Dr. Daniel Cushman, a sports medicine physician at University of Utah Health, about the use of ultrasound in orthopedics and how it can lead to better treatment for patients.
